Sakura Manabe is a 16-year-old high school student and is living with her 12-year-old sister Momiji and 27-year-old sister Botan, who works to support the three of them. Their 19-year-old brother Kashiwa has been away at college for two years and has suddenly decided to come back to live with them. However, when Kashiwa arrives, Sakura and the others discover that Kashiwa has now decided to live as a woman. Sakura and her two sisters now have to cope with the new reality of having another sister.

Set in a "futuristic, yet feudal Japan," and stars a samurai named Afro for his hair. The story follows Afro as he tries to avenge his father's murder. In the world of Afro Samurai, it is said that the one who becomes "Number One", will rule the world, wielding powers akin to a god. Someone becomes Number One by killing the previous Number One and taking his ceremonial headband. However, the only rule in this world is that only the "Number Two" (also designated by a sacred headband) is allowed to fight the "Number One." The downside of this is that anyone (and typically everyone) can challenge and try to kill the Number Two, to gain the right to move forward and challenge Number One. Afro Samurai's father was the old Number One, until he was challenged by a gunman, "Justice" (who was then Number Two), who fought him in a duel to become the new Number One. At the time the gunman challenged his father, Afro had only been a child. The gunman severed his father's head right in front of the young Afro. Now an adult, Afro Samurai is the current Number Two and a master swordsman; he travels the road seeking revenge on Justice, the current Number One. Lengthy flashbacks interspersed throughout the story detail how Afro rose from frightened boy fleeing the death of his father, to master swordsman, and eventually to become the current "Number Two", while the story in the present deals with the adult Afro making his way to the mountain top keep of the "Number One" to duel Justice, while at the same time the mysterious cult known as the "Empty Seven Clan" sends various agents to kill Afro and take his Number Two headband.

Even though J no Subete is three volumes long, each volume is a dynamic story in itself covering a particular stage of J's life. His life is a dark story and it's a very psychological manga. Book one is about all of J's trials and tribulations throughout childhood, during high school as he tries to find his place in the world and when he meets the somber honor student Paul... The storyline revolves around Mina ?epe?: Princess- her werewolf guardian Akira Kaburagi Regendorf and Ruler of Vampires. For a long time, Mina is in hiding along with her folks as with other vampires. Trying to end centuries of isolation, Mina gets permission to produce a particular district for vampires called "The Bund" off the shore of Tokyo, Japan by paying off the whole national debt of the Japanese authorities along with her family's huge riches. Carrying out a dialogue present where identified vampire film actor Seiichi Hirai (who was revealed to be a real vampire) is killed by her during his rampage, Mina shows to the planet the being of vampires while mentioning her want for the two races to live together as they have been living on "The Bund." Nevertheless, tensions run high as extremist vampire factions and awful individuals start to interfere using the human planet with the want peace of Mina. This causes Mina and Akira to protect "The Bund" from these attackers. Regarding the Bund The Bund (also called Tokyo Landfill #0) is a unique man-made island district that floats in Tokyo Bay off the shore of Tokyo. Mina had it constructed to serve as a colony for the Vampires and Werewolves. While Vampires would be the main civilians residing in the Bund, the Werewolf guards of Mina called the Beowulf also live there fulltime on her safety. Persons of great importance (both politically or through private connection to Mina) are permitted to go to the Bund. The sole link in the mainland to the Bund is through one tunnel that is subterranean. The Bund h-AS important ports or no bridges. There's also an underground metropolis in the Bund which is inhabited by the Fangless (vampires who ripped out their particular fangs) as a way about them to stay freely and without persecution.

Izumi Koutarou's family has been working at their hot spring resort for many generations. But it seems that the hot spring has dried out and the family began to have financial problems. The situation got so bad they were planning to skip town. As a last resort, they try to pray to their god, Konoha-sama, which was in legend sealed in their backyard. At first they thought that nothing will happen, but the next second, the seal broke and their god was free. But apparently, Konoha-sama lost her memories because of her long sleep, and thus, she doesn’t know what her power are or what kind of god is she. The only thing she is certain about is that she is somehow connected to Koutarou. And as reward she revives their hot spring, but soon Koutarou learns that she is the god of poverty and also has the worst luck. How is the resort or even Koutarou going to survive this?

Will a special relationship develop between Neneko and the cousins?

Without doing much research on the school or surrounding areas, Hibino Ryouichiro picks an art school in Hokkaido. Tricked by the school advertisements, he goes to the campus only to find out it is a desolate and cold campus. The only glimmer of happiness for Ryouichiro are the girls on campus. Just hours after meeting Kisaragi Riho, the cute girl on campus, she seduces him only to find himself outside naked after she is done with him. Feeling heartbroken and used, he finds comfort in Aso Tomoe, who lives on the floor below at the dorms. Although it is freezing outside, it is hot underneath the sheets for Ryouichiro.
